A Few Suggestions

I don't know if any of this has been mentioned as I am new to the forums and didn't see anything.

What this server is really lacking is an economy and such...

I play the original Graal for computer and we are able to trade Gralats, Hats, Items, etc. making the game more fun and interactive. TRADING SYSTEM PLEASE.

In the old days, Gralats would drop when someone died, along with bombs and arrows. I doubt this could be reintegrated but it was nice being able to rob people, then the bank actually had a purpose.

Back then, you also used to have to quest for items, higher sword/shield levels, and hearts. Will quests get this elaborate? If any quests come from the original classic I hope Zorbi quests are reintroduced as well as the Zorbi Ring, fun little item, helps expand the world.

There also used to be a warp ring, wouldn't that be nice? Saw another player mention custom unstick points, great idea.

Events, events points, events items for the points!

Wish there were LESS outside no-PK zones, it really ruins the fun and seriously lags the outside levels, which people travel through, when half of the server is idling in these levels.

A Playerlist, essentially a list of buddies with messaging, location features, etc. The one for facebook and iphone completely sucks IMHO. On that note, add mass messaging back, or at least toall's. I would say if you were to modify the current system, one thing is if someone PM's you you have the ability to add them from the PM instead of having to search them.

Staff that is actually viewable when online and able to be messaged, "showadmins" would even be nice at this point. FAQ's would be a great addition as well.

Just a question for anyone who knows, why can't we access the iphone server via the actual Graal client instead of Facebook? Will this ever be possible? Also sucks having ages worth of stats on the real Classic server and not being able to transfer.

Final thought, why aren't deaths displayed?

Surprised I didn't get at least one reply on anything mentioned, oh well.

Lol we're already robbed enough with how hard it is to already earn gralats. Although I will say it has improved a bit. The trading system has been mentioned many times, but no matter how great the concept or idea they just won't add it. I'm guessing the reason is because profit may be at stake. Less no-pk areas are good as long as they're not in core sections that could lead to excessive blocking, lag, etc. I assume they got rid of "showadmins" because people could check if any were online before they glitched somewhere so they wouldn't get caught, but I'm not sure. Deaths I don't think should be displayed because you die from baddies and suicides so a K/D ratio would be inaccurate.

^^^each of these ideas already have threads. some even have 3+ threads over the same idea. the majority of them, staff constantly refuse.

1) Gralats dropping on death - The problem with this is that gralats relate to actual money now. Even though you can farm gralats like the good ol' days, you can also buy gralat packs. That means if they die enough then they could lose actual money they spent on the game. Bombs and Arrows maybe, but I like the idea of spending money to replenish them, especially since you have such huge caches.

2) More hearts/sword power - These are being considered. No point in shields though as everyone gets a speed boost now I'm pretty sure.

3) Events - I'm kind of 'meh' at the idea of events. They seem to take over servers and all focus goes to events because they're content that can be played over and over. Next thing you know players are demanding them 24/7 and that's all they care about.

4) Playerlist - Unfeasible/unpractical with such a large playercount.

5) Deaths - probably not displayed to encourage players to partake in PvP. I'm not bothered as it means less players care that if they die they'll have a +1 on their stats and generally means they're more likely to enjoy PKing since there's really no downside to dying. At least now with no loss of gralats/death count players can enjoy PKing without worrying about dying.

6) Trading - controversial subject and staff are well aware of its suggestions.

7) Staff list - Having an open list I feel would just get staff spammed. There should be a "I need help" button or something that isn't as serious as filing a report, but relays your concern to all staff(probably GP only) and whoever is available could come help you. This would need to be moderated like report though, so it's not abused/spammed.

The I need help button would be overused, feedback at least let's them sift through

I remember quite awhile ago now where graal classic was all messed up and gralats was starting to fall after a player was killed... Everyone was like omg! yay gralat drop update, then it got fixed :'( it's a shame I think it would be a great update, then they would have reason for the graal bank...but before this do a quest to get these baddies in jail for stealing all the money from the bank?
