I feel like it's dating just kinda different form.. Like instead of being able to be physical it's all emotional. You don't get to hug, you don't see them in real life, you dont spend time together doing stuff.. Its kinda like everything is left to emotions and conversations. Its nice to have a friend online and stuff, but I dont see how it could ever progress as long as you guys are in different areas. It seems kinda bittersweet having a relationship that you know can never really get serious.

well really who's to say it can't ever become a real life relationship? Like I said before, a long distance relationship takes A LOT of trust, trust that most people can't even begin to understand, comprehend, or even have the capacity for it. I have to admit, some times it get's pretty weary, having to wonder what the other person is doing or if they're even thinking about you. But there comes a time where some one on the internet is as real as they are in real life just like you, that is, if you're yourself too. It's just a matter of TRUSTING them for that much.
Patience and dedication is also something that is a necessity.
But like I said, if people would much rather date only face-to-face, then that's fine. Just the way I see it sometimes, if you really want to find the person right for you, you kinda have to be open to everyone instead of just limiting yourself and lowering your chances of finding that someone who is completely compatible with you. There's billions of people in this world, so why limit your search to a small area? Wouldn't it be completely worth it to find someone you are really compatible with and then eventually get to be with them later if you try hard enough?
This is just my opinion after all.
