I do agree with the idea of advertising for the game, because the game is losing players and not reeling in as many new players as it could. However, I think some things need to be worked out first for the game to be more playable and grab more attention. (Including more events, quests, and all those things people have been asking for for so long.)

Stefan released the Facebook clients hoping that the social aspect will make sharing of Graal easy and frequent. It did not happen because most people used alt fb accounts for Graal. The facebook server is now mostly used by people on iPhone with VIP, wanting an easy server for guild towers.

I disagree with this statement. Yes, many people did make alternate accounts on Facebook for Graal. (In my case, I didn't have a Facebook in the first place. Never really excited me. :p) However, I think the number of players on Graal also increased from the addition of VIP because many older Graalians from old PC servers were given a much more convenient opportunity to migrate to the server. Yes, some people did pay for VIP just for an easy server for guild towers. But you can also agree with my statement, or so I hope so.
Perhaps the number of new players would increase if more people learned about the game via word of mouth? Tell your friends and family about a cool, fun game to play when you get bored. Who knows, you may be surprised by their response! (Unless you are afraid of being called a nerd or geek for playing an online game, that's fine with me..) So yes, Graal should to get into the heads of more people by word of mouth or by online advertising.
