Maryland had the High School Assessment tests(HSA's). You had Reading and Math, and had to pass both in order to graduate. You start taking them in middle school and retake them every year until you pass them. I don't think I had any problem passing them back in middle school, which gave me a few days off every year afterwards  |
I don't know why but I barley passed those haha. They were so easy though. Only scored an 1900 or something on all of them. I think it's like 1600 to pass...
By the way HSAs also including biology and social studies which you take in like 10th or 9th grade.
