To see more of the map, you'd have to make the resolution higher, thus crashing or making the device unresponsive.
Also,
iPod > iPad, in my personal opinion.
I just can't seem to figure out how players use such a large touchscreen device for sparring and such. =o

Then how do you play on PC? It's the same. (even tho pc sparring is hell ez and can beat any user)
man iPad 2 can't handle it very far on start, and still got a better CPU than the iPod, so getting your user at start on large screen :
On iPad1 :Crash
On iPad2 : Small Lag
On iPad3 : Natural

On iPod4 (small screen) : small lag
On iPod4 (large screen) : Crash
On iPod3 (small screen) : Crash
On iPod3 (large screen) : I can't imagine.
PS: small screen means ordinary and large screen means era would be shrieked as an iPad.
