I don't consider this a holiday weekend.

Millions of men and women died for us. We take it all for granted. This is the one moment that they are praised anymore; besides major assasinations... Almost every (active) solider in the military today has seen one of their fellow brothers or sisters die right in front of their faces.

For Monday I will not be praising that we're out of school, but I will be praising the fact that they have put their lives on the line and many have lost them for our freedom.
