Do I really have to explain this to you? In era when you spar you are in a small square where you have to DODGE and shoot your oponnents to win. In your dodgeball idea to have to DODGE and throw balls to win. Not much of a difference at all. So basically since you don't have any interest dodging in era why would you in your idea?
