Honestly, the price seems fair to me. You pay for what you get.
As other members mentioned, it wouldn't be fair for the players who already purchased this item, and other items of equal(or lesser!) statistics.
Also, changing its price would be synonymous to saying, "Oh, [Knight]$torm! We were wrong all this time and you're right. We'll fix this problem right away!." Nobody likes to be wrong, especially when the possibility of global disapproval lingers.
Again, other players have accepted the economy without contest and paid the price.
