Here are some of my only pictures of my past and present pets...
Candy: The Black Labradorean Retriever
Had to put her down when both she and I were 18 years of age.
I was actually crying on her all the way to the vet..
My brother, father and I did not talk the whole ride back and fourth.
Sage: The young Pitbull my brother bought. I had to take care of her in a transition of my life being the only one in the house. Eventually we all moved into my soon to come step-mothers house. Sage was given away to one of her neighbors in New Jersey where they own a small beach house. That was still sad, but I was not as attached. She would sleep in my bed, but being young she would also pee...
Step-Mothers pets
Hershey: Husky Black Labradorean Retriever, very boring and doesn't do much.
Dillion: Garfield like cat. Won't take crap from anyone, and often starts fights with Hershey. She will start slapping him on the nose, and he just doesn't care.
Mikey: We call Mikey the Ninja Cat. She is basically blind in one eye, and sneaks around all the time. Usually timid and no longer is, but use to be scared of Hershey.
I want a Ferret.
If you love your pet, treat it well and take it for walks. My only real outside memory with Candy was my father, brother, and I playing baseball. I was thrown the ball and hit it right at the dog which leaped up whimpered and I think tried to run away... Maybe four years before we put it down. I don't feel I was the best caretaker...
