If you can get them for 60 dollars, get them.
Then sell them online for $200 and get some good headphones. Because in all honesty, there are headphones under $50 that sound as good, if not better than any headphone in the Beats line. Here's accurate pricing for the Beats, in my opinion.
Beats Solo/Mixr: $20
Beats Tour IEMs: $25
Beats 'Studio' 'HD' 'High-fidelity': $50 (being generous here)
Beats Pro: $170 - Because these are decent, but any headphone at the $450 price point blows them out of the water.
And for Skullcandy's house sound, the highs are extremely aggressive and tinny, mids are almost non-existant, and the lows are a far cry from any IEM at the price range (Ink'd might be an exception, maybe). In short, Skullcandy's ear-piercing treble makes my ears bleed, then the Beats sound like the cotton balls I just put in my ears to stop the bleeding from the Skullcandies.
