Ok the link is back up, and you've been using the wrong template. That template is the one people use to create shields, its the most commonly used shield template.
Callimuc (Who Posted Above) has posted the correct template.
Think, if you were to use that shield template how would the game know what the body would look like when you run, grab, pull and die?
