Shayne... I'm pretty sure your lying. The area now called snowtown wasn't called that back then. And it wasnt in the upper right hand, there was stuff beyond it on the original gmap.

higbey do you not dare take my offer of being proved wrong because you don't want your ego to be lowered? if you want, i can get in contact with this man and actually have him Skype you or whatever. because i'm not lying. some parts i don't remember correctly, but he did know what Graal was and used to play.

better yet... What does your story have to do with people who cannot quit graal? ._.
Keep that information to yourself... To be honest, no one needed to know that
Someone who remembers graal can quit graal... Just because u remember it doesn't mean you did not quit the game...
The only time graal classic was memorable is when the game wasn't screwed up by a group of role playing freaks
Edit: one last thing... If you can't afford the actual Zelda game, then I believe you are too young still or that you can't get a job...
Sorry but those are my facts

this goes with the "graal as a possession" thing. we can't quit because we are in control of our player, therefore we posess it making Graal our possession. just like the story of the guy i met who used to play as a kid. he still hasn't let go of his memories. quitting is entirely abandoning the game. if you still have it in your memories as an enjoyable game, then you still at least 0.1% like it to some point. unless you're a critic who likes to troll your hatred.
