On-topic, I like your graphic - it isn't bad for a first start. I would suggest moving the eyes down to cover up more of the forehead with hair, and the overall shape isn't really like a head. It's more like an egg - heads should be more like the shape of an apple, or maybe an orange, but a big orange, more like a grapefruit really?
