Third place should have no prize, but I'd like to see the play off anyway. I'm sure the second best team in the competition wouldn't appreciate coming top 8 instead of third.

Meh idk. After losing in semis in mixed tourney half my team logged off, and they probably still would have logged off even if there was a meaningless third place match scheduled. Though maybe in idevice only GST a third place match would make more sense as there are more teams and I think the overall level of competition is more even.
