That's just scientific jargon to me. Saying something didn't exist doesn't make it true. Something existed, otherwise nothing would have happened.

Scientific Jargon? Why don't you fully research the other side of the argument first before rejecting it as simply babble? I have full experience and knowledge on pretty much every side of the argument and I am completely open to any other theories that are rational and based on something. I am guessing that you will stick by the idea that something had to come from nothing no matter what from this quote though... That's fine, but saying that since there is no definite, factual explanation to the origin of this universe a higher power must exist is a cop out in my point of view. Why is the absence of a definite theory of the origin of the universe the proof of spirituality and a higher power? I'll consider that option if there is any evidence of it, instead of just lack of evidence to the prior. That doesn't make any sense.
