What implies it, the qu'ran? I think you are strongly mistaken if you believe that. Old Islamic law may imply that death is the punishment, but the teachings of the qu'ran do not mention any punishment at all.
Ok, if you don't bother with either of those, it seems that both have had to have an effect on your attitude towards Islam, and religion in general. Based on your responses about Islam, you seem to have stereotyped all Muslims based on what the media portrays them as. Also, starting this thread is the typical "I'm an atheist, debate me" attitude seen on reddit.
Trying to get someone to prove their god is real is a horrible attitude. I'm sure you are young and ignorant when it comes to human psychology, but faith and spirituality plays an imporant role in people's lives. There are many great questions in life that can not be definitively answered by science, so some people turn to religion for some explenation.
