Yeah. The idea is that the shield cannot be used at the same time with the gun, rather instead, you use the shield last second before the bullet hits you. Otherwise, the shield serves as a horrible melee but provides damage protection. Shield does knockback but does 5 damage and has a slow melee rate. Also, shouldn't the shield only reduce damage that is in front of you? Not a 360 protection.
