tried a couple dungeons in gw2, hated it :/
Most boss fights felt generic. In Tera bosses actually have unique mechanics. In this game it feels repetitive.
here's a boss I loved from Tera:
One boss would put announce that he put a curse on a random player(and names them). The thing is, the player he says the curse is on isn't always true. After 10 seconds of being cursed, everyone within 20 meters of the cursed individual would die(excluding the one that is cursed) The key is to scatter whenever he announces the curse. My strategy was to have the tank stay in the middle and everyone else move to seperate corners.
also orbs are slowly flying around the area. The red ones poison you and the blue ones can either give you an attack buff or do 5000 damage(equal to about 10% of your health at that level). The key is to dodge them and maybe use the blue ones sparingly if you're trying to speedrun.
He can also cage in one of your players with a set of shields, so you need to break them free.
I wish gw2 had combat like this, the combat in gw2 puts me to sleep

if the combat was challenging and unique I might play the game more. I love the story, graphics, and wvw, but the combat is what ruined the game
