I posted a camo idea like this which was you unlock camos after getting a certain number of kills, but now I have come to reject the idea. Here is my logic, for one staff sells different color weapons in auctions and such, so you cannot just handout camos when people payed for those guns. More importantly though the fact that guns might be confused or just the different colors will be overused. Diffetent color guns should be from auctions or maybe like a gang reward.
