This guy knows whats up.
Liquid Swords ftw. That entire album is fire.
Investigative Reports, Gold, Shadowboxin', Liquid Swords, Duel of the Iron Mic.
Check out the Mathematics remix to the collab "Wu Banga 101"-- great verse by Gza there.
I remember in 2003-2004 raiding bases with the song "Heated Heavy" by Krayzie Bone on repeat. I must have listened to that hundreds of times.
Then I got into Canibus, who became my all time favorite artist to PK to.
I remember doing many gang raids, KoTH, and front lawning while listening to "Spartibus", "Showtime at the Gallow", "Buckingham Palace", "Patriots", "Second Round KO", and LL Cool J's "4321" with Bis in it.
His album with Keith Murray, The Undergods, would probably be good too-- I'll bump it tomorrow while I'm basing with the Lightsaber.
Also listened to some Immortal Technique for a while.
Music takes me right back to old school Era- great memories.
Give them a listen if you've got an appreciation for good lyricism. Bubblegum rap ftl.

Hopsin - Nocturnal Rainbows
|
Hopsin's the man. Check out his XXL Cypher, and the song "Am I a Psycho" if you haven't already.
XXL Cypher's funny as all getout. Hopsin kills it, Roscoe Dash has a surprisingly decent verse, MGK's decent, Future's a joke, and Danny Brown's got a decent verse.
"Am I a Psycho" is a song by Tech N9ne, with Hopsin(kills it again) and BOB(Good flow, but amateur lyrics)
Listening to now: KRS-One - Black Cop
