But since this is a thread about computers, can anyone help me? I got a custom built PC in my computer room. Vista 7, about 28 out of 30 GBs used (not too sure about that and the specs), and a monitor. I've been leaving it be for about a year, occasionaly turning it on because i prefer my laptop. So anyway, it's been having problems. Numerous problems. The computer starts, then 30 seconds later it shuts down. When it does boot up, the monitor won't read it. Sometimes, it refuses to turn on. And it takes like 30 minutes just to shut down. I'll probably get a video out if I find my camera. But yeah, any help with this? Sorry it's so vague with the specs and the stuff, i can't remember them.

This could be anything, the problem is very vague. Could just be a faulty video card. If you have it plugged into a dedicated video card try removing that card and using the onboard video(lots of Motherboards have one), or swap out another video card to see if that's the problem.
