This could be anything, the problem is very vague. Could just be a faulty video card. If you have it plugged into a dedicated video card try removing that card and using the onboard video(lots of Motherboards have one), or swap out another video card to see if that's the problem.

Hmmm, could be, seeing as the computer can't read the monitor. Before it broke, Minecraft couldn't be played on it. And if it is, s**t. My dad won't let me buy a new video card :/ i just hope it's something not to costly to fix.
