I didn't draw any assumptions, all I said was 1% of the group was minority. Whenever I display any kind of statistic I've found or collected, you tell me it's complete nonsense. I never said that every southerner is a racist, gun hugging redneck, all I said was there isn't that much minority in the south compared to where I live. I didn't bring up racism in my last post.
Also on a side note, as an iEra staff member, you should be a roll model on these forums. Calling me a prick because of something I didn't say isn't very professional of you.

You said you believe what zazzi said, which probably gave him the wrong message that you agreed with the whole not voting for Obama makes you racist idea.
To get a proper measure of the population of minorities in specific regions, I recommend looking at census data, not data gathered from your own personal experiences. Average income of the area, the general culture of the activities you're observing from, as well as other factors can effect the diversity of the population in the area. There are some towns in the south that might have a very high African American population, and others that might have a very low population.
