It should actually be "levitated" in a case of suspension coils that absorb the energy from impacts, similar to suspension for cars/bikes. Most cracked screens aren't from direct impacts to the screen, but the iPhone being dropped and the screen absorbing the energy(and breaking). Gorilla glass is very scratch resistant(so screen protectors are useless O.o), but still fragile.

Sounds good. And the only way to use it is through a special safety glove and a bullet proof glass viewing panel.
