I think it's a mix of Halo 3, Halo: Reach, and CoD. One of the fun things about playing multiplayer is having a motivation. I sadly reached rank 70 and can't advance any further. I feel the multiplayer lacks custom games. I always wanted to see a Halo game where they would have games like Sacrifice, Smear the *****, Fatboy, Jenga, etc as a playlist. Halo: Reach had some custom gametypes, but not nearly as good. Halo 4 really has none at all. Just typical playlists like oddball, CTF, slayer, and so on.
