Industries are very influential and powerful. Just look at the Rothschilds and Rockefellers. Giving out large bank loans to governments at war (financing both sides) then tipping their odds and wallets into the more favorable one so they have governments at debt and their service. Outsourcing other banks and industries to promote their own. I think sometime around the 1940's maybe Rockefeller, J.P. Morgan and some other wealthy guy all teamed up with their oil, steel and insurance industries and out their wallets to finance presidential candidates who they felt would do best for them and their industries. It's powerful business. They get what they want. They always do.
