I have no problem with her acting/actor, she's just an annoyingly written character. However her smile bugs me.
I doubt they're building her up for anything, if if they are it's pretty bad pacing. She's been a poor character from start to finish, a shell of her comic version.

I'm fairly confident that Andrea will realize that Rick's group is living in the prison and will reunite with them in time to defend against woodbury.
