I would have noticed if ive logged on recently

He was my all time favorite npc. I remember when "make onnet town a city" riots were going on more than a year ago, mabye two, bernart stood along there with the rioters, giving them inspiration. He is iconic of onnet town and is symbolic of wisdom.
The sheer amount of attention bernart got in these riots is enough to make him stay. Dozens of graalians would get in fights to remove/save ole' bernie.
