Valid point, but the idea of doing "anything" doesn't only mean dangerous things. I'm talking about the everyday life aspects they are attempting to simulate.
I'm not trying to be too negative, but I am really skeptical of the legitimacy of this project. A quick look at their development blog and I'm already pretty disappointed. Check it out here:
http://universeprojects.blogspot.ca/. They claim that they are starting the game in 2D, then transitioning to 3D. I don't even understand what that means or how that would be functional/productive. Check it out for yourselves under the "What will the game look like?" section on the website.
I could be over-thinking everything, but I can see this failing.
