America is a melting pot of different people, different cultures, different races, different ideals, different religions, different beliefs, different everything. And isn't that sort of freedom what's made America what it is today?
The obvious answer is yes, so isn't it self-destructive to start ostracizing and working against other people for the reasons listed above? Black people can't help it that they're black, so is it fair to put restrictions on them? No. Women can't help it that they're women, so is it fair to put restrictions on them? No. Homosexuals can't help it that they're homosexuals, so is it fair to put restrictions on them? No. We have to learn to accept one another if we want to be taken seriously in the world. Decide for yourself whether you agree with it. That part is up to you. It's not my business to tell you that you can't think that homosexuality is wrong; that's your choice. Just keep it between yourself and your comprades and don't try to force your beliefs on anybody else. America has already gone through this issue more than twice, so why don't we take the high road for once and avoid this issue before it begins?
