you are screwed and lose those minerals,it already happened to me,you will lose all the minerals that are in the robot,so make sure you transfer your minerals in the shop and/or repair your bot every once in a while.

Why don't they have the bot's minerals transfer to another robot or still let you grab the minerals when it dies?
