I don't believe that this kind of 'forced loyalty' would be well received. However, there are many ways to encourage guild loyalty. One example of something I intend to do is change guild hats, where they are added to the guild rather than the player. They would only appear in your inventory when you wear the tag. I think this is the kind of thing you should be aiming for in your suggestions.

What if a guy who was loyal to the bone for the whole 1000 hours it took to get a hat, was kicked? No more hat for him. That would be BS in my opinion and for that reason I don't support that idea.
