Everytime someone hosts that god awful event it always stops me from typing is there anyway they can patch it or stop it from

they have an option for it in the preferences tab "ignore events"..tap on your profile then click edit

I think that goes for all the popup actions like when someone enters your house and what not. It really is annoying.
