So it's nailed on I'll be getting an Amazon Kindle this weekend as I am sick of reading eBooks off a laptop screen and not a big fan of holding massive physical copies of books. So I'm looking for recommendations on what books I should get which yourselves have enjoyed.

I should point out the type of books I enjoy are Science & Nature books when it comes to non-fiction and when it comes to fiction I like things from Kurt Vonnegut/Phillip Pullman/J.K. Rowling (Of course). So those are the type of authors who I like.

Firstly though, I will be looking to power through the "A Song of Fire & Ice" series by George R. R. Martin, which no doubt most of you are now familiar with thanks to HBO's phenomenal series "Game of Thrones" (If not you bloody well should be!).

So fire away! Give me your recommendations.
