With the release of the event coin system I have decided to make a little thread here with some ideas to help make events more fun and efficient.
- 2nd Event House This is some-what of a simple idea that could help reduce lag drastically and allow 2 Event Team staff members to be hosting at the same time. The 2nd event house could have a bunch of the events that are pretty much done like 16 man spar, prison break, ect and it could also have a few others from era pc like red light green light, hidden paths, ect. Really all you would have to do is copy the level from the first event house and add it to another part of the map (maybe near mercy west?) This would spread people out so theyre all not at one event house and multiple events could be hosted at the same time.
-Seperate building for the Events Shop This sort of goes along with my first idea; If there is a second event house then you could move the event shop to its own building somewhere near the start park (so its in between both Event Houses). Also this would reduce the lag in the first event house because you won't have a ton of people running through the event house to get to the shop.
-Event bot event every 30 minutes Rather then having the event bot host an event for an ec every 2 hours you should make it more constant like once every 30 minutes. Also maybe make it so that the event bot message is in a different color or something so that people will know that its for an ec.
-Hire a few additional staff members just as ETs Even though the current staff is doing a pretty good job at handling events I believe it would be good to hire a hand full of people to the Events Team. This way the event team just can focus on solely hosting events. Other staff could still host events but this way they can have some time to work on other things relating to their jobs (like helping players, creating graphics, developing,ect.) Also this way the other staff members won't be constantly bugged by players to host events and could just tell any ET member on to host, giving the other staff some peace while they help improve era :d.
-Make it so that ETs can refill their event coins by grabbing the counter at the event shop You could make it so that when a staff member on the Events Team tag grabs the counter at the event shop, they recieve like 20-30 Event Coins. This will make hosting event more efficient because then ETs won't have to ask snk or a PRA for some coins when ever they run out.
