Every time I use it I have it plugged in and charging. I wasn't aware the battery would be damaged leaving it charged. It is charging for a large majority of the day whether it's in sleep mode or open. I leave my charger in because I tend to forget to plug it back in when it gets low on battery.

It's like AFKing on the iPod, it degrades your battery over time.
