If the business side of Graal is what prevents certain things from being developed, just off the top of my head I can think of several easy ways to pull gralats from the economy and encourage users to want more.
Make each trading transaction cost a flat amount of gralats. 1000 or 2000, I don't know. Just with that change alone, the trading system may end up consuming more gralats than hat shops. Or, make an entry fee for the GST. It happens once every three months, so make guilds pay 10,000 or 20,000 gralats to submit each team.
Again, it's just a theory that the gralat economy is part of what is holding this system back, and if it is then it could easily be remedied.
