I don't know how I feel about my school. When it comes to student interaction, for me personally its fine. Considering I grew up with most of the kids since in elementary school. The term bullies seems to not exist as far as I know. Physically at least. You do see verbal smack talk, but most of the time its buddies messing around. I have yet to see anyone get overpowered by someone. People maturely mind their own business. But fights do break out in result of police coming later on, or being break en up by security. But no one gets hurt. You can easily intimidate people. Idk why but i find it funny. The most is arrest with possession of alcohol or drugs. It provides us students with a nice show during lunch. But theirs no sense of hatred to anyone or any particular group. The school is fairly mixed, but the majority is of course white.(60%). With 40% minority
I guess our lunch system is ok. We have open lunch. We can leave campus during lunch and go anywhere we want to. Since there are malls, and multiple restaurants in walking distance like McDonalds, Subway and even Chiplotle, it provides us with a good reason to have open lunch. Can eat anywhere in the school, any class room or anywhere outside.(courtyard, football field etc..)
I guess the staff is aight. It looks as if theirs a lot of teachers in the 22-35 age group for some reason, but no to exact on that. None of the teachers I have had so far were anywhere near a bitch. They all are really easy to talk to and have fun enjoyable conversations and encourage you to come in for help anytime you need it. Almost all of free during lunch or after school.
Extracurricular wise, my school, or county in general, take major pride in competitions. We end up having multiple events throughout the school year like fundraisers, ending up raising at least 200,000$ alone. We raised around 90000$ for cancer alone in the first semester. Clubs are really easy to get into and start your own. I guess its a good thing.
Education wise, its in top 110 nation wide. We have dozens of AP courses to choose from, and statistics show 80% of kids take part in them. Around 2250 kids with a 17:1 student ratio if I remember.
I guess its a ok school. It may get annoying from time to time. Just cant wait to graduate of course. At least the laddies are fine.
