I'd Like if there was a small gralat reward for winning spars in the battle arena. This would provide an incentive to spar, and kind of revive sparring. It doesn't need to be faster than farming, just a little something to reward you for playing.
The rewards would only be given within the official battle arena, there would be diminishing rewards if you beat the same player multiple times in a row, and an hourly/daily gralats cap to avoid mass boosting. The point being the system wouldn't be exploitable if you take measures like this.
Maybe provide higher rewards for going on a streak in tournament spar(with a hard cap in case of hackers), and a "bounty" on them that is rewarded to the player that breaks the streak.
I'm thinking of the following numbers, which can obviously be adjusted:
10 gralats for winning a spar
5 gralats for losing a spar
-2 gralats for each consecutive win on the same player(diminishing returns, goes away if you spar a variety of players. So if you beat someone 2 times in a row you would get 4 gralats the third time and they get 0 for losing) these diminishing return to the base values(10 for win 5 for loss) after 3 minutes of not sparring said player, or after sparring 3 other players.
+3 additional gralats for each consecutive win in the tournament spar, with a hard cap of 50 gralats per win. For example: game 1-10g game 2-13g game 3-16g etc
+5 added to bounty every consecutive win in tournament spar, Maximum bounty of 200 gralats. Reset to 0 upon exiting win streak.
Maximum of 2k gralats earned an hour. The hourly cap may be exceeded in tournament spar as long as at least 10 players are present
Maximum of 10k gralats earned a day
-If you exceed the maximum you may continue sparring, but you won't receive gralats.
Any thoughts? If they implemented this they would need to add more rooms though, keep that in mind!
