I'm used to Smartcast and a-move, but I can't seem to play unlocked camera. Doesn't feel like it helps me in any way (already look around via clicking minimap) outside easier last-hitting in laning phase, which is the only place I use it. I feel lost in teamfights.

Believe me when I say that unlocked camera is mandatory. Not only does it help with certain long range champions like lux, but it also helps so much more with paying attention to other things.
