Note that none of these theories are true. I'm just looking for someone to confirm them.
I have always been wondering how Gralat spawning works. Thinking of many different theories, yet having no way to find a definite answer, unless someone who knows how this stuff works is able to confirm it for me.
These theories are hard to explain. I will try my best, but I apologize if it's hard to understand.
Theory One,
A Gralats chance of spawning is exclusive to the specific patch of grass/bush.
Here is a small strip of grass. Every square of grass has it's own determined spawn. X means one will spawn in the next hit.
So, if I hit any of those X's, I would get a Gralat. where as if I hit the blanks, I wouldn't get anything.
Theory Two,
For the entire area of grass, a chance of a Gralat spawning is true or false for the entire area. If I hit any of the patches while the chance of a spawn is true, I would get a Gralat there. Thus meaning if you want to get a Gralat value higher in a farm, you should probably keep using your sword on the same patch of grass.
Theory Three,
Gralat spawn chances are client, meaning if I were to hit a patch of grass, and a Gralat spawned there, if someone else were to do the same before I did, doesn't mean they would get a Gralat.
Theory Four,

Actually Stefan is in stealth mode in your guild house watching you slave away cutting grass and once he feels you've done enough work he places your payment on the grass thus leading us to believe that Stefan is the Tooth Fair of graal of some sorts.

Also, is it true the more people in a level, the higher chance of a Gralat spawn?
Does lag contribute to Gralat spawning too? If so, is this intentional?
I'm not sure if anyone can confirm it unless they have seen the scripts for Gralat spawning.
