I still think what you guys are asking is what a high majority of the classic community doesnt want. Its not sad that people want to recieve 1k hats, they are one of a kind and in many peoples opinions they are the best hats you can have. Believe it or not thats a big deal in this game.
Its about the community which is majorly new(ish) or somewhat active players. What they want matters more than what you guys think is not cool
