Did I mention that I enjoyed this? The original 2001 version was cheesy IMO, but the new OVA (that took forever to finish) was very interesting. I liked the separation of three parties, each with immense power and motivation to defeat the other two. I thought the last few episodes were rushed a bit, though. Some characters went through changes for better or worse, while others did not. Great historical references as well, even naming the author of Dracula in the anime. Worth checking out if you like this sort of stuff. I usually watch English subbed, but I recommend dubbed for this. The voice actors really captured the English, Scottish, and German accents well, and it adds a lot to the experience. Although, it only goes up about halfway because they still have not finished the English dubs.
