Except if he wants to store a lot of stuff  As far as I know you only need SSD for your OS install, for quick boot-up. Afterwards you use a large HDD for everything else. |
They are also good for loading games fast. For mass storage I recommend usb3+external hd. Large internal drives are for noobs.
