I don't know about this, 7x7 is already big enough, CTF has less levels yet it still fits the players and they keep respawning.
So let's consider we open door for 200 people, 200 / 49 = ~4-5 players per level, just wait 2minutes and you will see the playercount has been dropped to 70-80, which leads us to 1 or two players per level. I already get lost when warping to their, yet I know how the map is made...
There is also a Feast, the Feast will be spawned somewhere in the map forcing the players to go and get it (usually, it'll be an OP bow/gun), they're willing to kill teammates for that.
You won't, staff will be tracking your every movement, and placing zombies or fire next to you.
(Warning, deforestation by fire is a major damaging event, therefore keep on running from flames)

4-5 players per level still seems mildly excessive, it'll pretty much be a giant LMS if it's that crowded.
I'd say shrink the map is more people die, but make it large at the start.
