It could be night for an hour then day for an hour

Many PC Servers have weather/day and night systems. Some complex, some less so. This definitely wouldn't be anything new nor hard to do.
Earlier you were complaining about it being unfair if they based it off one time zone. Which I totally agreed with. Now you're nagging about it being foolish if they changed it every hour or so, so it remained stable for the whole playerbase, and trying to say it should be based off one time zone. That, I totally disagree with.
It only makes sense to have it change every hour or more, so that it changes for all time zones. Unlike one time zone having it realistically set, and the others having it all out of whack.

I was just trying to state IMO that 1 hour for day/night change is to short a time period maybe it would be better like 2-3 on 2-3 off. I was also trying to give an idea about how they could keep it realistic with the time flow of real life. I can see how that wouldn't work because some players would be stuck playing the game mostly in either the day or night time hours according to there time zone and schedules and that wouldn't be fair.
That is also why in another thread i suggested the idea of a warper to allow travel back and forth from day/night maps freely. I think this would be easier than trying to set up a time flow system. The problem I see with a time flow change is this: Some areas are supposed to be closed off during the night and some previously unaccessable areas are supposed to open up during the night. If that was to happen your always going to have ppl in areas that are supposed to be closed off during one of the time periods. So how do you fix that?
