I've always lived in the United States. It's a good place; I feel safe and secure, and I have my friends and like where I live. On the other hand, however, I think that the current government has glaring faults and think that the stereotype of many Americans being conceited, ignorant, and uncaring about what doesn't immediately concern them is sadly accurate. It's a good place, though, founded on strong principles, and I like to think it has the ability to rectify itself.
I have a lot of nationalism and pride for Great Britain, though, specifically England. I've always appreciated England's culture and the idea of a smaller, more centralized nation. A part of me wouldn't mind living there if it wasn't so far from my family and friends at home.
