Anyways, to stay on topic, I also noticed some lag across the server, not sure what the cause is but there is some fact to that. I can assure you it isn't due to "updating the levels" though.

As for updates, be patient, they will come.
Keep in mind that updates that developed need to be tested and debugged, which takes time. The developers are working hard to assure you that when the updates do get released, they work as intended so that your gaming experience is as enjoyable as possible.
