I know most of us are under 18 here but I would like to discuss this topic. Do you think that children/teenagers should get more rights (legally)?

Your parents sound like mine. My solution was talkback... I took control and told them I'm old enough to handle myself. I'm 13.

Wow your a rebel 13 yr old aren't you. I actually cannot wait till you get yourself into crap (thinking you know everything as little kids do) and need your parents to help you. It would be great if they talk backed to you then.

We are getting affected though. Carbon tax affects me and my family, and it's the governments fault, so I should be able to vote (if it makes sense)

Nope you shouldn't, suck it up. And I'm sure the tax doesn't affect yours as much as me, my electricity for my coffee shop is now at 1.4K per month. No mater who your vote for they won't change it anyway so I'm still not getting your point.

Are you implying that most teenagers are like this? I'm not, and I won't ever be. None of my friends are, and I hope no one on this forum is either. Besides, just because there is a rotten apple in the bag it doesn't mean the rest are rotten as well.

Yes but on my way to work nearly every teenager I come across is doing something stupid or immature. It's not 1 rotten apple in a bag it's the whole bags rotten and 1 is good.
How old are you by the way? I need to get a clearer picture on your age group.
