Now wait, earlier in this thread something about lag being caused by too many players in a level... Perhaps 2k-3k simply is too high of a player count for a Gserver to run optimally? I mean, this isn't something that has been tested, and there certainly isn't any limit on the number of players online, so it's possible.

Possibly, but I'm sure Stefan would be able to easily tell if the playercount was straining the server.

Also, here's an idea. Player ads. Make players put their guild recruiting and code shop advertising in a menu instead of lagging it up out in the open.

Chances are they'll just end up advertising their advertisements.
